02/18/2011 Workout

Cumulative static handstand hold for 3 minutes. Stop timer when you drop out of position. Record total time it takes to get 3:00.

Then:

3 rounds of suicide line drills on a basketball court. Rest 30 seconds between rounds. Record time for each round.

On the suicide drill, you hit (in this order) the free-throw line (then back), 3 point line (then back), half court (then back), opposite court 3 point line (then back), opposite court half point line (then back), opposite court line (then back), is that right??? And all of this constitutes 1 round, right?

  3. Great video. That would be another good progression towards the handstand.

    Yes, suicide line drills go:

    * baseline
    * free throw line
    * baseline
    * half court
    * baseline
    * opposite free throw line
    * baseline
    * opposite baseline
    * baseline

    That would be 1 round.

  5. It took me approximately 8 minutes. (More time on the shoulder press than on the suicide runs!)

  6. and after I finished, I ran 2 miles at 7mph and followed up with a series of shoulder presses, curls, and flies (over 200 reps).
